WY attorney general misunderstood the question about counting the 2020 ballots

Posted

Dear editor:

In my opinion the attorney general of Wyoming was in error on her ruling on Nov. 10, 2022 regarding the group asking to hand count the 2020 General Election. She said, per the Wyoming Constitution voters have protection of privacy as to how they voted. We agree wholeheartedly with that statement. I have been an election judge for many years and there is no way anyone can tell how someone voted. There are no signatures or identification on any ballot. She also said that, “Because the Constitution makes ballots confidential, the records may not be turned over to any outside person or group.”

We are not an outside group. We are a group of patriotic Park County residents concerned for our families. We are only asking that the ballots be counted to ensure the machines are doing what they are supposed to do. We want the county clerk to be in charge. With proper training, it would take less than a day to do the total count. With the voter difficulties occurring all over the country why not prove our machines are correct. What are they afraid of?

Bryan Skoric said in a meeting that “the machines do exactly what they are told and the hand count would be different than the machine count.” How much different, five votes or 5,000 votes? This should not be a partisan issue but an American issue. We have reached out to the Democrat Party without success. They don’t seem to think there is anything wrong. Let’s prove them right.
