Notice is hereby given that Park County will receive sealed bids until 5:00 P.M., local time, 09/17/21 at 1002 Sheridan Ave, Cody, Wyoming for MATERIALS, LABOR, SERVICES, TRANSPORTATION & COMPLETE CONSTRUCTION OF Powell Landfill Weigh Scale Replacement. Owner anticipates that the Project’s total bid price will range from $75,000 to $100,000. The Project has an expected duration of 30 working days. All bids publicly opened and read aloud on 9:35 A.M., local time, 9/20/21 at Park County Offices, 1002 Sheridan Ave, Cody, Wyoming. Mail or deliver to Park County Clerk’s Office. Park County will take no responsibility for delivery of bids through mail. Prospective Bidders will be required to register with the website to download the bidding documents for $25 by inputting Quest project #8022779 on the website’s Project search page. Park County reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any informalities if deemed in the best interest of the Owner. No bid may be considered unless accompanied by the required bid guarantee of 5% of the total bid amount, which amount shall be forfeited if the bidder is awarded the Contract and fails to enter into a Contract with the Owner. Successful bidder will be required to provide payment and performance bonds in an amount of at least 100% of awarded contract price. A Pre-bid meeting will be held at 1:00 P.M. local time, on 09/14/2021 at the Powell Landfill, 1005 Rd. 5, Powell, WY 82435. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required.
Pursuant to W.S. 16-6-106, “preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment, machinery and provisions produced, manufactured or grown in Wyoming, or supplied by a resident of the state, quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the state”.
