Vera Kathleen "Kati" (Lowry) Quick of Tucson, Arizona, passed away at Northwest Hospital on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2024.
She was born Nov. 6, 1948,s in Meeteetse, Wyoming to Vera and Charles Lowry.
Kati was a lifelong caregiver and worked as a registered nurse for over 35 years in Colorado, California and Arizona. Kati was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2017 and fought a long battle with cancer and related ailments.
Kati is survived by her husband of 38 years, Edward “Joy” Quick of Tucson, Arizona; five children: Karma Hale, 56, and Keith Richardson, 52, of Tucson, Arizona; Roberta Black, 54, and Kevin Richardson, 45, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Dustin Richardson, 41, of Minneapolis, Minnesota; three stepchildren: Amy Quick, Caleb Quick and Toby Quick; and 36 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Kati was preceded in death by her parents Vera and Charles Lowry, her parents-in-law Bud and Eleanor Quick; her siblings Charlotte Willenbrecht, Joseph Lowry, Bob Lowry, Dick Lowry and Betty Dent; and her niece Debbie Willenbrecht.
A memorial service for friends and family will be held in-person and virtually on Nov. 6, 2024, in Tucson, Arizona. Details will be posted on Kati's Facebook page.
