The Market (formerly Mr. Ds) will be no more — aside from the liquor store — in roughly 10 days.
Store Manager Caroline Johnson said the business started to discount its inventory Monday morning and it’s currently 25% off, excluding liquor and tobacco. As the inventory decreases, that could rise to 50% off later in the week.
“The store will close when the inventory mostly runs out,” she said.
Johnson said the vacant space is still owned by the company, headquartered in Colorado, and some of that space will be taken up by the expanded liquor store, which will stay open.
“The liquor store will actually get a little bit bigger,” she said.
Johnson said future plans, depending on acquiring the necessary permits, could even include a drive thru.
