August has rolled around, and the Good Old Boys are still at work on the fairways heading into week No. 13 of action.
The choice of game this week was 123 CCC, where a four-man team keeps two low net scores on par 3’s, three low net scores on par 4’s and one low net alongside one low gross on par 5s.
The first place team of Tom Bibbey, Rhett Wolff, Clark Jeffs and Lloyd Snyder finished with a score of 172.
Tying for second place were the teams of Cas Seago, Dennis McCollum, Paul Devoss and Bob Varian along with Jim Tobin, Bob Mason, Jason Quigley and Devoss as a blind draw. Both teams finished with a 176.
One stroke behind in fourth place was the team of Gerry Johns, Joe Comer, Marc Saylor and Devoss as a blind draw.
In fifth place with a score of 181 was the team of Larry Hedderman, Jerry Linsdau, Thom Seliga and Todd Smith.
Four deuces were carded on the day; Hedderman on No. 4, Seliga and Bibbey on No. 8 and Smith on hole No. 15.
Saylor had the low gross and net of the day with a 77 and 67 respectfully.
