The weather and the action started to heat up for the Good Old Boys on the course last week, taking part in a game of 123-CCC on July 9.
In this game, teams use one net ball on hole No. 1, two net balls on hole No. 2 and three net balls on hole No. 3, then repeat that pattern through 18 holes.
In first place with a score of 131 was the team of Dave Frost, Ray Nelson, Don Hardy and Larry Hedderman.
Second place went to Thom Seliga, Clark Jeffs, Randy Mair and Lloyd Snyder with a 136.
Finishing with a 138 was the team of Buddy Rae, Ed Swistak, Marc Saylor and a blind draw of Dennis McCollum.
Rounding out the team scores was the group of Paul Devoss, McCollum, John Donovan and Doug Firth with a 140.
Three deuces were carded, two by Seliga and Frost on No. 4 and Firth on No. 10.
Frost, Hardy, Hedderman, Seliga and Swistak all tied for the low net at 73.
The low gross went to Hardy with an 80.
