In last week’s edition of the Powell Tribune it was reported that the Park County School District 1 Board of Trustees would be making decisions regarding new sports teams at its next meeting today (Tuesday).
Powell High School Athletic Director Scott McKenzie said he and Powell Middle School Athletic Director Chanler Buck were not going to have figures ready in time to make a decision at this month’s meeting.
He said they will have figures ready for the workshop meeting at the end of May, and decisions will be made at the first meeting in June.
