A company working with area law enforcement and first response agencies is looking for role players to assume the role of casualties during the response to this mass casualty training event.

The Park County Sheriff’s Office, which will be participating in a large training event hosted by the Park County Homeland Security Director, Jeff Martin, announced Thursday morning the need for role players.

The company working with the county is hiring role players to portray mass casualty victims during a training exercise. Role players will be asked to wear “Moulage” (artificial triage/wound make-up). Role players will be processed through a CERFP mission, which entails: DECON station (they will get wet). Casualty scenarios include active shooter(s), natural disaster(s), acts of war and weapons of mass destruction responses. Some wardrobe will be provided (please note: articles of clothing may be cut or removed by the attending participants as part of their training). No age or gender restrictions. Must be in good health, able to withstand long periods outdoors in the summer weather, able to lift and carry 40 pounds of weight. Water, cooling shelter, and snacks will be provided.
