PUBLIC NOTICE
Pursuant to the Wyoming Administrative Procedure Act and the Wyoming Public Service Commission’s (Commission) Procedural Rules and Special Regulations, notice is hereby given of the Application of Garland Light and Power Company (Garland), for authority to revise its Rules and Regulations regarding retail rate structure.
Garland is a public utility as defined in Wyo. Stat. § 37-1-101(a)(vi)(C), subject to the Commission’s jurisdiction pursuant to Wyo. Stat. § 37-2-112.
On April 7, 2020, Garland submitted its Application, requesting authority to revise its Rules and Regulations in Wyoming PSC No. 9, Original Sheet Nos. 4 and 5, to reflect its recent, Board of Directors’ approved, rate structure change. Garland’s proposes to update its facilities charge from $28.00 to $48.00, its energy charge from $0.123621 to $0.1025 per kWh, its General Manager’s name, its retail rate effective date, and language in its Application for Membership and Electric Service form.
This is not a complete description of the Application. Interested persons may inspect the Application at Garland’s Powell business office and at the Commission’s offices in Cheyenne, Wyoming, during regular business hours.
Anyone desiring to file a public comment, statement, intervention petition, protest or request for a public hearing in this matter must do file with the Commission in writing on or before May 14, 2020. Any intervention request filed with the Commission shall set forth the grounds of the proposed intervention or request for hearing as well as the position and the interest of the petitioner in this proceeding.
