Twenty three participants took part in the NFL Punt, Pass and Kick competition hosted by the Powell Recreation District recently. The following youth earned first-place honors in their respective age groups and are eligible to advance to sectional competition in Riverton on Oct. 17. Based on their performance at sectional competition, they could earn the right to advance to team championship competition to be held at Invesco Field in November, in conjunction with the Denver Broncos-San Diego Chargers NFL game.Girls 8-9 —Maddy Hanks, 123'5”; Girls 10-11 —Danna Hanks, 111'; Girls 12-13 — Shawnea Harrington 286'9”; Boys 8-9 — Preston Quarles, 139'; Boys 10-11 — Jon Moore, 191'8”; Boys 12-13 — Ryan Ferro 212'3”; Boys 14-15 — Jake MaGill 247'8”.
