Powell Valley Healthcare is experiencing an unusual phone dysfunction, and is asking people to come into the clinic or hospital to communicate with staff about scheduled appointments, etc., or they can contact the hospital through its website at pvhc.org or through Facebook Messenger.
Hospital spokesman Jim Cannon said the issue is due to a problem with TCT and Verizon not being able to connect to the hospital through Level 3 Communications in Casper.
“Our IT staff is working diligently to get the issue resolved so that people can reach us via telephone,” Cannon said, adding “We apologize for the inconvenience for people with TCT and Verizon phone service not being able to reach us via telephone.”
The State of Wyoming offices in Cheyenne were also affected.
