The Powell High School cheerleaders were in action Wednesday at the State Spirit Competition, the culminating event of their long season.
The competition wrapped up well after the Tribune’s deadline, set to run past 8:30 p.m. As for the Panthers, they were set to perform routines in game day cheer at 2:42 p.m., jazz at 5:42 p.m. and hip hop at 7:42 p.m.
The PHS squad went into the contest as the defending Class 3A state champions in Game Day Cheer.
Full results from 2020 spirit competition will follow in the Tribune next week.
