AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUB-PARAGRAPH ‘F’ OF SECTION 8.08.120 OF THE POWELL CITY CODE PERTAINING TO FEES CHARGED FOR RECYCLING WITHIN THE CITY OF POWELL BY ALLOWING THE COUNCIL TO SUSPEND SAID FEES
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Powell, Park County, Wyoming, as follows:
Section 1: Sub-Paragraph ‘F’ of Section 8.08.120 of the Powell City Code is hereby amended to provide as follows:
Section 8.08.120. Mandatory service; rates.
Sub-Paragraph ‘F’
F.​All residential and commercial units that do not utilize recycling
pick up of cardboard products shall be charged a monthly fee for
support of recycling within the city. Those commercial units which
utilize recycling services for picking up cardboard products shall be
charged the fees determined by ordinance adopted by the city council,
from time to time, and available for public examination at city hall.
Any fees charged to support recycling within the City of Powell may be
suspended by vote of the governing body.
​​Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon adoption and publication as required by law.
