The 2023 Northwest College Juried Student Art + Design Exhibit will open in the Northwest Gallery located inside the Cabre Building on Tuesday, April 25 from 7-8:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, and light refreshments will be served.
The artworks on display are created by 2022-23 NWC art and graphic design students working in a variety of 2D and 3D media. Jodi Lightner, professor of art and department chair at Montana State University-Billings, is this year’s show juror. A small selection of artworks from the exhibit will be presented with Purchase Awards funded by the Northwest College board of trustees. The selected artworks will then become part of college’s permanent collection.
The exhibit will remain on display in the Northwest Gallery through noon on Saturday, May 13 following NWC’s graduation ceremony. The gallery is open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., and Thursdays from 7-9 p.m. Admission is free.
