The Northwest College Communications and Marketing team earned two honors at the 11th Annual Educational Advertising Awards, which recognize outstanding achievements in digital marketing within the education sector.
Colleges, universities and secondary schools from across the country submitted entries, and a panel of judges, consisting of education marketers, advertising creative directors, and marketing and advertising professionals, evaluated the submissions. More than 1,000 entries were received, with gold, silver and bronze awards given.
In the Digital Video Ad category, NWC earned Best of Show for its promotion of the Welcome to Wyoming Scholarship (lead creator: Ronnie Wolfe), exhibiting what the judges deemed to be the highest standards of creativity and professionalism. Northwest College was the only non-university team among the Best of Show category winners.
The team was also awarded Gold in the Facebook Profile Category (lead creator: Tim Carpenter) and was one of only three two-year colleges to earn that distinction.
“There is something special about the Communications and Marketing team at Northwest College,” said director Carey Miller. “We have an incredibly talented group of people who love what they do, love the college, and it shows in their exemplary work. So proud of each one of them.”
The NWC Communications and Marketing team includes Miller, Jeremiah Howe, Carpenter and Wolfe.
