Dear Editor:
I was unable to go to work on Wednesday, so I watched the news.
What I saw was absolute violence and sedition. These people massing are thugs, not patriots. I’m sure glad they’ve all been taking pictures of themselves, for there is nothing like many megabytes of digital evidence to prowl through for indictments.
I called Cynthia Lummis’ office in Cody. The number is 307-527-9444. My call was answered after two rings.
The person that answered the call asked how I was doing. Here is my response:
I am disturbed. I am watching the activities in Washington, D.C., and I am disgusted. I draw a direct line from the NOT peaceful protest that is being encouraged by the conman-in-chief to Sen. Lummis — which I tripped over when saying that honorific — because a person elected to uphold the Constitution for their constituents would NEVER allow for the overthrowing of states’ rights to perpetuate LIES about a valid vote by the people of this country.
Mrs. Lummis is directly responsible for the disgrace of this mob behavior by her actions; if she is not willing to support the Constitution and the people of her state, then I will respect her for immediately resigning. Her behavior is NOT patriotic. Her behavior is NOT lawful.
She has demonstrated that her focus is not to represent the residents of Wyoming, the hardworking people of this state, but her own selfish grab for power through sedition. Her behavior with the other 12 senators is despicable. She no longer should be in the elected office of United States Senator to represent Wyoming. And, I AM a registered Republican.
Jennifer, at the senatorial office, responded politely and thanked me for giving my message calmly, conscientiously, and without vitriol (even though my voice was shaking on the phone). She assured me that my message would be given to Cynthia Lummis that day. I appreciate Jennifer’s time and I hope she shares my disappointment and disgust of Cynthia Lummis’ behavior.
When did Mrs. Lummis stop supporting the Constitution of the United States and only support the actions of a deceiving despot, taking the constituents of Wyoming into the world’s view with their misdeeds?
Sincerely,
Justine Larsen
