The Kane area bus tour returns June 1. The group will leave the Lovell-Kane Area Museum at 9 a.m. Cost is $20 and attendees are asked to bring a lunch and walking shoes. Water will be provided.
The tour will travel down to the old Kane townsite on the ML Ranch and visit the John Blue Cabin, a rock cabin built in the side of the hill.
The group will then travel to the Kane Cemetery. On the bus guides will talk about different pioneers like Frank Sykes, Pete Gervay, and the Waters family (the mother shot five of her children) who are buried at the cemetery and do a bit of grave dousing. People can register at 8:30 a.m. before boarding the bus.
