Immanuel Lutheran Church will be installing its new pastor on Saturday, June 1. After nearly a year of searching, Rev. Daniel Harrington will be installed as pastor. He steps into the office after Rev. Lee Wisroth retired last year.
Rev. Harrington served as assistant pastor at Holy Cross Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He, his wife, Melissa, and their four children, relocated to Powell after he accepted Immanuel's call to serve the congregation.
Pastor Kenneth Mars from Christ the King Lutheran Church in Cody has been performing as interim pastor while the search committee leads the congregation in extending a call.
At 11 a.m. a special service of installation will be held, followed by fellowship and light lunch.
