Hanging new lights for Love Lights Ceremony

Posted

The Cody Fire Department assisted Cody Regional Health with hanging its new tree lights for its 28th Annual Love Lights Ceremony on Friday, Dec. 2 from 5-7 p.m. at the Spirit Mountain Hospice House.

Cody Regional Health Spirit Mountain Hospice has served the Big Horn Basin since 1994, providing in-home care and inpatient comfort care to patients and families facing end-of-life issues.

All funds raised from the Love Lights Ceremony will go back to support hospice patients experiencing end-of-life care.

“We are thankful to the fire department for helping us out this year! We really needed new lights hung and appreciated all their help,” states Carol Anders, hospice house director. “At our Love Lights Ceremony, we celebrate the lives of our loved ones who have passed. This ceremony is in honor of these patients, and we are so grateful to everyone who has donated in the past and will in the future to continue supporting our patients end-of-life care.”

“The joy on the residents’ faces was priceless as the new lights were hung. For anyone wanting to donate to this great cause you can visit CRHgive.org today and select our ‘Supporting Hospice Memorials’ option to make a difference,” said Annalea Avery, CRH Foundation and patient experience director.

Spirit Mountain is the only inpatient hospice service in the Big Horn Basin area.
