This week, the Good Old Boys league at Powell Golf Club played “Sucker in the Bucket.”
Two teams tied for first place with scores of 63 on Tuesday: Rhett Wolff, Judge Gambill, John Chase and Cas Seago and Thom Seliga, Bob Mason, Bob Parsons and Marc Saylor.
Dennis McCollum, Stephen Burtoft, Clark Jeffs and Dave Frost finished in third with a score of 65. And in fourth place, the teams of Jerry Linsdau, Kevin Lineback, Bill Hendricks and Jim Tobin and Larry Hedderman, James Caffro, Howard Whitlock and Lloyd Snyder tied at 70.
Three deuces were carded in the round: one by Frost on hole 3, one by Gambill on hole 4 and one by Burtoft on hole 8.
Frost had the top round of the day with a gross score of 77 and a net of 69.
