Bighorn Canyon is hosting volunteer Greg Jones on National Fossil Day, Oct. 11. Jones will be giving a geology walk at Barry’s Landing along the fossil wall near the parking lot.
The program will start at 10 a.m. and finish around 11 a.m.
The Cal S. Taggart Bighorn Canyon Visitor Center in Lovell is now in winter hours. The visitor center is open Tuesday-Saturday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., closed on Sunday and Monday.
