Daughters of the American Revolution award scholarship to Cody student

Haley Pearson-Horner was presented a $200 scholarship from the Daughters of the American Revolution by regent Karin Neilson on April 1.

Cody student Haley Pearson-Horner is this year’s recipient of the $200 scholarship from the Big Horn chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Pearson-Horner was awarded the scholarship on Saturday, April 1.

The scholarship is awarded based on an essay contest each year that is open to students from fifth to 12th grade.
