Special Meeting
Monday, July 6, 2020
Chairman Tilden called to order a special meeting of the Board of County Commissioners of Park County, Wyoming, on Monday, July 6, 2020. Present were Vice Chairman, Lee Livingston, Commissioners, Dossie Overfield, Jake Fulkerson, Lloyd Thiel, Clerk Colleen Renner and Deputy Clerk Hans Odde.
Commissioner Fulkerson led the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Public Hearing for Fiscal Year 2020-2021 Park County Budget
Chairman Tilden opened a public hearing at 6:00 PM and requested Clerk Renner to present the budget message.
Clerk Renner presented the highlights of the FY20-21 budget. The entire budget and budget message is available in the County Clerk’s office or on the Park County website at www.parkcounty.us/countyclerk/budget.
Chairman Tilden then asked if there were any comments on the budget from the public. Park County 4-H leader Chandra LaFrentz commented on the lessons being taught in 4-H to the youth of our community then her 11 year old daughter Abigail spoke to the commissioners about the benefits she has gained from being in 4-H and asked that the commissioners continue to help fund the program into the future.
Chairman Tilden asked if there were any further comments from the public and hearing none Commissioner Livingston made a motion to close the public hearing. Commissioner Fulkerson seconded and the motion carried.
Commissioner Livingston then made a motion to adjourn at 6:14 PM, Commissioner Thiel seconded, and the motion carried.
