Cody Club to host candidate forum luncheon

CODY — The public is invited to join the Cody Country Chamber of Commerce during a special two-hour candidate forum on Monday, July 15. The forum will take place during an extended Cody Club lunch meeting from noon-2 p.m. at the Cody Club Room (1240 Beck Avenue).

All candidates registered for the following elections were invited to participate. The candidates listed below are those who have accepted the invitation as of July 5. All registered candidates were invited and may still appear at the forum if they respond later. Some candidates (noted below) will not be in attendance, but the moderator will read a statement submitted by the campaign.

Participating candidates as of July 5:

1. Wyoming Senate District 18: Landon Greer, Tim French.

2. Wyoming House District 24: Matt Hall, Nina Webber (submitting a statement).

3. Wyoming House District 50: David Hill, Rachel Rodriguez-Williams (submitting a statement).

4. Park County Commission: Scott Mangold, Karin Richard, Kelly Simone.

5. Mayor of Cody: Lee Ann Reiter.

6. Cody City Council Ward 1: Jeremy Laing.

7. Cody City Council Ward 2: Tim McIsaac.

8. Cody City Council Ward 3: Joanna Settineri, Joseph Burrell, Tillman Maxwell.

Attendees will have the chance to hear directly from the candidates on their platforms, ask questions, and gain insight into their visions for the future of our community. This event promises to be an informative and engaging experience for all involved.

You do not need to register in advance to attend the lunch. Attendees can pay at the door for $15 per person by cash or check. Cody Club entry cards and punch cards are also accepted.

Lunch will be catered by Fat Racks BBQ. The chamber would like to thank The Village Shoppe for sponsoring this special Cody Club Meeting.
