ORDINANCE NO. 3, 2020
AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR THE 2020-21 BUDGET
FOR THE CITY OF POWELL, WYOMING FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING
THE FIRST DAY OF JULY, 2020 AND ENDING THE 30TH DAY OF JUNE 2021.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF POWELL, PARK COUNTY, WYOMING, as follows:
Section 1. The following sums of money are hereby appropriated for the objects and purpose mentioned and specified and which are deemed necessary to defray expenses and liabilities of the City of Powell, Wyoming, for the fiscal year beginning the first day of July, 2020, and ending the 30th day of June, 2021. The budget is prepared by department and the City of Powell reserves the right to transfer appropriations within categories of a department.
General Fund Requirements: Water Fund Requirements: 1,795,172 Administration 597,113 City Attorney 106,371 Wastewater Fund Requirements: 778,387 Finance 439,620 Inspection Services 145,013 Sanitation Fund Requirements: 1,753,182 Streets & Alleys 1,144,648 Parks 735,067 Electric Fund Requirements: 8,591,663 Golf Course 28,000 Police 2,540,666 Fiber Fund Requirements: 552,539 Municipal Court 26,935 Airport 1,069,894 Capital Projects Fund: 43,000 City Shop 263,292 City Council 138,923 Economic Development: 2,714,724 Aquatic Facility 852,174 TOTAL REQUIREMENTS 8,087,716 TOTAL APPROPRIATIONS: 24,316,383
Section 2. For the fiscal year 2020-2021 there shall be levied and collected taxes for general revenue purposes in the amount of $248,655 on the dollar valuation of all taxable property, not to exceed the maximum allowable .008 mills, within said City.
Section 3. Any Ordinance or parts of Ordinance in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon adoption and publication as required by law.
