The campaign season is heating up locally as Powell hosts a second candidate forum Wednesday at The Commons.
This one will include not just state Legislature candidates and Park County Commission candidates but also candidates from Powell City Council and the mayoral race.
The forum is being put on by the Powell Chamber of Commerce and the Powell Tribune, and will be broadcast live on KPOW.
Doors will open at 5 p.m. where candidates will be available to talk and campaign tables will be set up. The forum will be from 5:30-7 p.m., with another chance to talk to candidates from 7-7:30 p.m.
Candidates scheduled to attend include:
Senate District 18:
Incumbent Sen. Tim French and challenger Landon Greer
Senate District 20:
Incumbent Sen. Ed Cooper
House District 25:
Incumbent Rep. David Northrup and challenger Paul Hoeft
HD 50:
Incumbent Rep. Rachel Rodriguez-Williams and challenger David Hill
HD 24:
Challengers Matt Hall and Nina Webber
Park County Commission:
Incumbent Scott Mangold and challengers Casey Edwards, Karin Richard and Kelly Simone
Powell Mayor:
Challenger Kade Richmond
Powell City Council:
Incumbent Floyd Young and challenger Troy Bray
