YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT Nathan Grant Hoffert and Cristin Carole Hoffert have filed a Petition for Adoption with this Court for the adoption of KER born 2013 and MAR born 2015. The object and prayer of the Petition is for Nathan Grant Hoffert to adopt KER born 2013 and MAR born 2015, terminate the parental rights of Gordon Russell Ripma Jr. and change the children’s names to KEH and MAH. The Petitioners have also filed a Motion for Order to Show Cause requesting an adoption without your written consent.
YOU ARE REQUIRED TO ANSWER the Petition for Adoption on or before March 3, 2023, or judgment by default may be rendered against you if you fail to appear, plead or otherwise defend.
IT HAS ALSO BEEN ORDERED that you, the natural father, shall appear before the above-captioned Court, at the Park County Courthouse, Cody, Wyoming, on the 13th day of March, 2023, at 9 a.m. to appear and show cause why the Petition for Adoption should not be granted and a Decree of Adoption entered. This hearing shall be held by audiovisual conference or phone conference. You may contact the Court at (307) 347-2331 to get the call-in number or a link to the hearing. You must file any objections you have and serve them on all parties to the proceedings, including any person whose consent has been filed, at least five days before the hearing. You are required to appear and show cause or judgment by default may be rendered against you.
