SAND BAR RANCH SUP-248
WITH SITE PLAN REVIEW
At their regular meeting on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 1:00pm, the Park County Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing to consider the Special Use Permit (SUP) Application and site plan review for the Sand Bar Ranch SUP-248 (Applicant: Mike Sand). The applicant is proposing a major recreation facility of 7,500 sq. ft. to be utilized for recreational horseback riding, lessons, training, boarding and potential future horse shows and clinics. The use is proposed within an unaddressed 4.62-acre parcel located approximately 1.5 miles east of Powell, west of County Lane 6 on the west end of Hacienda Road. The parcel is described as part of Tract 69G, T55N, R98W of the 6th P.M., Park County, Wyoming. The property is in a General Rural-Powell (GR-P) zoning district in the Powell Local Planning Area.
The hearing will be held in the Alternate Emergency Operations Center (EOC Room) located in the basement of the Courthouse Addition, 1002 Sheridan Ave., Cody, WY.
