An informational meeting for the annual Northwest College Photographic Communications Spring Break trip is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 18. The meeting is at 6:30 p.m. in Room 70 of the Fagerberg Building on the NWC campus. This year’s trip to Spain will take place from March 9-17, with participants flying from Billings to Madrid.
The trip costs $3,600 plus tuition for the PHTO 2690-90 Travel Seminar class during the spring 2024 semester. Utilizing English speaking guides, Discover Uruguay is hosting the trip, which includes city tours of Madrid, Toledo and Sevilla, and will end during Las Fallas de Valencia, the annual festival in Valencia celebrating Saint Joseph. The cost includes lodging, two meals a day, and all in-country travel. Portions will be taken via bus, high-speed train and plane.
There will be additional periodic meetings to prepare for the trip during the spring semester, which can be attended in-person or via Zoom. Travelers will also need to apply for an $8 visa to visit Spain.
Those interested in learning more about this great international travel opportunity should contact NWC Assistant Professor of Photography Jennifer Litterer-Trevino at 307-754-6160, or jen.litterer-trevino@nwc.edu.
