Washington, DC — U.S. Rep. Harriet Hageman (R-Wyo.) is hosting two town halls in the Big Horn Basin this week, including one in Powell. The meetings, as well as one in Johnson County, will complete seven town halls this year and 30 since being sworn-in to Congress.

The local meeting is 7-8 a.m. Thursday at the Commons on 135 N. Bent St. There is also a meeting from 6-7 p.m. in Greybull at the Greybull Recreation District on 527 1st Street S.

“I promised to host a town hall in every county, every year, and I am continuing to honor that promise in 2024, just as I did in 2023,” Hageman said in the release. “After several weeks in Washington, there are many issues to discuss, including the Biden border crisis, more reckless government spending, the status of foreign aid for Israel and Ukraine, and many bills that I have introduced or has passed in the House of Representatives. It is important to hear ideas, feedback, and questions from my constituents. I look forward to visiting with everyone and updating Wyomingites on what we have done and the votes I have taken.”

Hageman will begin with a recap of the latest developments in Congress, with audience Q&A to follow.
