The start of August brought to a close the hot temperatures on the course for the Good Old Boys, starting out the new month with a game of Scratch and Scramble.
In this game, four-man teams add their net scores togethers and divide it by four for the team score.
Finishing first with a 77 was the team of Don Hardy, Clark Jeffs, Tom Bibbey and Marc Saylor.
Two strokes behind in second with a 79 was the team of Ed Swistak, Steve Burtoft, Thom Seliga and Ray Nelson.
Third place went to Joe Comer, Dennis McCollum, Bob Varian and Cas Seago with an 82.
Rounding out the teams in fourth place with an 83 was the squad of Paul Devoss, Bob Mason, Jim Tobin and Larry Hedderman.
Varian recorded the only deuce of the day on hole No. 15 along with the lowest net score of 71.
Hardy had the low gross on the day with a score of 78.
