Rounding out September the Good Old Boys went out to play sucker in the bucket as the game of the week.
On the first hole teams picked the best net score; on the second hole they pick the best net score of the remaining scores; on the third hole the best net of the two remaining is picked; then on the fourth hole the last remaining player is the sucker and the team uses that score.
The game is then repeated.
In first with a net score of 59 was the team of Bob Mason, Don Hardy, Stephen Burtoft with the blind draw of Thom Seliga.
With a 63 in second place was Ed Swistak, Gerry Johns, Seliga and Rhett Wolff.
Two teams tied for third place with a 65: Joe Comer, Jim Tobin, Clark Jeffs and Marc Saylor, alongside Larry Hedderman, Paul Devoss, Cas Seago and Todd Smith.
Rounding out the teams in fifth place with a 70 was Dennis McCollum, Darrell Allman, Ray Nelson and Lloyd Snyder.
Three deuces were carded, two on hole No. 8 by Mason and Saylor, and one on hole No. 15 by Jeffs.
Saylor had the low gross and net for the day of 78 and 68 respectively.
