Rick Armstrong passed away on Nov. 30, 2023, at home surrounded by his loving family.
Rick was a quiet and gentle soul with a wicked sense of humor and a twinkle of mischief. He was a wonderful person and true friend to many. If you were lucky enough to know him, he left a lasting impact on your life.
He was born Fredric (Rick) Armstrong in Sheridan, Wyoming on June 30, 1955, to Fredric and Marilyn Armstrong. After graduating high school in Worland, Wyoming, Rick relocated to Powell to attend college at NWC. There he met and married the love of his life, June, in 1979 and stayed to build a life. Rick was incredibly hard working and spent all his life in the oil field industry, including many years with J&R Well Service.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his wife, June, his daughters Tarna and Kayla, his son Tysen, sons-in-law Travis and Mike, daughter-in-law Fiona, and grandchildren Paxon, Charlotte, Devyn and Josephine.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life that will be held on July 4, 2024 at 955 Lane 11 in Powell at 5 p.m.
