Carol Mae Norby (née Moffett), born Feb. 4, 1954, in Hennepin, Minnesota, to Richard and the late Esther Moffett, departed from this life on Dec. 4, 2023, at the age of 69. A resident of Amado, Arizona, Carol was a woman of deep faith and an active member of the First Assembly of God in Sahuarita.

Endowed with a creative spirit and a kind heart, Carol's hands were never idle as she crafted beauty in the world through her handmade greeting cards, crafts and sewing. Her ability to create and share brought joy to many and served as a bridge to connect with the community, which included her time as a stamping and 4-H instructor, participation in the Powell Valley Riding Club and her contributions to the world of blogging.

Carol's life was a reflection of her values — family, faith and fellowship. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Dean; her father, Richard; her brother, Rick; and her children, Mike, Marci and Matthew; her grandchildren, Christen, Rylie, Rowan and Archer, as well as her great-grandchildren, Ryan and Jace, who will carry forward her legacy of love and creativity. Carol also leaves her nephew, Nick, and niece, Amanda, among other relatives and friends. She rejoins in eternal peace her mother, Esther, and grandmother, Edith.

A service to honor Carol's life and her unwavering commitment to her family and faith will be held at 10 a.m. on March 16, 2024, at the First Assembly of God in Sahuarita, Arizona. Those who knew her will remember Carol for her cheerful smile, her generous spirit and the light of her presence. Her memory will be cherished in the hearts of her loved ones forever.
