Bruce Wayne Calvert, born in Casper, Wyoming, on March 13, 1959, passed away in Cheyenne, Wyoming, on Jan. 16, 2024, at the age of 64.
Bruce grew up in Powell, but moved to Utah in his mid-20s to pursue a career as an automotive mechanic. He went on to receive his master’s certificate in automotive repair. His last move was to Cheyenne where he lived the rest of his days.
Bruce truly loved working on cars, playing billiards, (you could often find him down at Buntins pool hall) and listening to classic rock and roll music. He also loved to play cards (especially pinochle) and had a wonderful sense of humor.
Bruce is survived by his two children, April (Jason) Weist, and Steven (Erika) Calvert; his grandchildren, Dustin (Jessica), Heather, Rachael, Roland, Keera, Aenea and Harper; his great-grandchild James; and his brothers and sisters, Debbie (Lee) Spiker, John Calvert, Mark (Laurie) Calvert, Cathy (Duane) Olson and Christie (Mike) Holzer. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond Calvert, his mother Marcia Calvert, his son Adam Calvert, and his brother William Calvert.
We love you Bruce and can’t wait till we are reunited with you in heaven.
The family will be holding a private ceremony to spread his ashes.
