Karen Faye Kost, a beloved mother and friend, died Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at her home in Basin. She was 50.
Karen was born in Powell on March 26, 1965, to William H. Kysar and Kathleen E. (Wick) Kysar.
Karen’s dream was to be a wife and mother; she loved her children unconditionally and was a nurturing wife to her husband.
Karen is survived by two sisters, Diana Foretich and Janet Tanner; and three brothers, Billy Kysar, Mike Kysar and Carl Kysar; as well as three daughters, Amber Bretzman, Alisha Bretzman and April Bretzman; two stepchildren, Daniel Kost and Niki Kost; six grandchildren; and by her husband, Daniel Paul Kost Sr., who loved Karen dearly.
A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Basin at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 24.
