Sharron De Rocher died of cancer on Feb. 29, 2016. She was 75.
She was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on March 7, 1940.
Sharron married Robert on April 1, 1960, and was his life-partner and best friend for 56 years. She was amazingly strong and courageous, yet loving, generous, kind and caring throughout her life.
Sharron was very adventurous and traveled extensively within North America and overseas to Europe, the British Isles and the Caribbean.
She is survived by her husband Robert; sons Ted and Adam; daughters-in-law Susie and Cyd; and grandchildren Aaron, Abby, Alex, Caitlin and Chloe. She found room in her life for Jim, another young man who survives her, whom she took into her home and heart.
Sharron was an exemplary mother, wife and homemaker. Her loved ones will all miss her dearly, but she will remain forever in their hearts and minds.
