Susan Edgell of Powell died on Feb. 8, 2016, at Powell Valley Hospital. She was 76.
Sue was born on June 3, 1939, to Geneieve Schmidt and Marvin Miney in Ludington, Michigan.
She moved to Wyoming in 1970, where she worked several jobs. Most people in town knew her from working at Pamida as a customer service clerk for over 20 years. She enjoyed working with people during her time at Pamida.
Sue was a great mother and grandmother. She always put her children first above everything. Sue was a very caring person.
She enjoyed reading, playing bingo, puzzles and hanging out with her granddaughter, Samantha.
Sue was preceded in death my her parents, Geneieve Schmidt and Marvin Miney; son Chris Edgell; daughter Shawna (Edgell) Ruzick; grandson Tyler Ruzick; brothers Paul Miney and Marvin Miney Jr.; and sister Lois Danks.
Sue is survived by her son Todd “TJ” (Kim) Edgell of Powell; granddaughter Samantha Edgell of Powell; grandsons Cole Ruzick and Shane Ruzick; great-granddaughter Kaitlyn Lohof; great-grandson Keaton Ruzick; and sisters Iris Bradshaw of Michigan and Kathlene Jensen of Minnesota.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Powell, with Pastor Lee Wisroth officiating. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
