NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PEAKS WILLWOOD STORAGE SUP-268
At their regular meeting on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 1:00pm, the Park County Planning & Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing to consider the Special Use Permit (SUP) Application for Peaks Willwood Storage SUP-268 (Applicant: Rex Rich on behalf of landowner Rich Family Trust). The applicant is proposing a commercial storage facility consisting of seven 50’ x 100’ mini-warehouse structures. Each warehouse will house approximately twenty-eight individual storage units (196 units total on the property). The use is proposed within an 8.73-acre parcel located approximately 3.3 miles south of Powell, on the northeast side of Highway 295 (on the Willwood corner), with an address of 1295 Road 9, Powell. The parcel is within the S1/2S1/2 of Lot 38-M, Resurvey, T55N, R99W of the 6th P.M., Park County, Wyoming. The property is within a General Rural Powell (GR-P) zoning district, in the Powell Planning Area.
The hearing will be held in the Alternate Emergency Operating Center (EOC Room) located in the basement of the Courthouse Addition, 1002 Sheridan Ave., Cody, WY.
