Blistering heat continues to beat down on the region, bringing red hot scores to the Good Old Boys in week No. 17.
Hitting the course on Aug. 30, the Good Old Boys game of choice was high-low, where four man teams use the highest and lowest net scores for the team score.
Coming in first place was the team of Larry Hedderman, Curt Dugger, Don Hardy and David Frost with a score of 156.
Finishing four strokes behind in second place was Gerry Johns, Joe Comer, Ray Nelson and Clark Jeffs.
Third place with a score of 166 was the team of Paul Devoss, Judge Gambill, Cas Seago and Buddy Rae.
Jerry Linsdau, Ed Swistak, Dennis McCollum and Jim Tobin finished in fourth place with a 169.
Finishing out the scores in fifth place was the team of Thom Seliga, Darrel Allan, Marc Saylor and Lloyd Snyder with a 176.
One deuce was carded by Allan on hole No. 17.
Jeffs finished with the low gross of 78, while Johns and Nelson tied for the low net with a 69.
