NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
SPOMER GRAVEL PIT SUP-216 WITH SITE PLAN REVIEW
At their regular meeting on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 10:15 am, the Park County Board of Commissioners will conduct a public hearing to consider the Special Use Permit (SUP) Application for the Spomer Gravel Pit SUP-216 (Applicant: Carl Spomer) with Site Plan Review. This is a request to expand the existing large rock product mine use last approved by SUP-66. Operations will be performed in small tracts, over a period of several years, on a 120-acre site within a 484-acre parcel owned by Lois A Hart located approximately 5.5 miles East of Powell. The portion is described as Lot 53-I, 53-J and 53-P, Section 15, T55N, R98W of the 6th P.M., Park County, Wyoming, in a General Rural-Powell (GR-P) zoning district.
The hearing will be held in the Alternate Emergency Operating Center (EOC Room) located in the basement of the Courthouse Addition, 1002 Sheridan Ave., Cody, WY. Should public access to the building be prohibited due to COVID-19 response, instructions on how to participate in the meeting virtually will be provided at www.parkcounty.us at least 24 hours prior to the hearing date.
