Dear Editor:
I mailed a birthday card to my daughter in Maryland (postmarked Aug. 24 in Casper). She received the card Sept. 16. Happy belated belated birthday. Unfortunately, that’s not the only time my mail has been delayed. On April 23, 2015, I sent a tax payment to the Park County Treasurer’s office in Cody. It was postmarked Oct. 3, 2017 in Casper. I wonder where that envelope was sitting for over two years? That payment only took 2 1/2 years to travel the 25 or so miles to the courthouse.
My advice? Vote early and vote often.
