Alexa D. Smith of Powell recently graduated cum laude from Wichita State University in Kansas. Smith obtained a bachelor’s degree in general studies and general studies psychology.
She was among more than 2,000 students who received roughly 2,175 degrees and certificates at the conclusion of the spring 2021 semester.
To graduate cum laude, Smith had to post an average GPA between 3.25 and 3.55. In the spring 2021 semester, she made the WSU dean’s honor roll by earning a GPA of at least 3.5.
