Ronda Bessler, 57, of Evanston, Wyoming, formerly of Powell, passed away in Salt Lake City, Utah, on April 21, 2021.

She was born to Peggy Jean (Muller) Pace and James Wallace Jessen in Worland, Wyoming, on March 29, 1964. She was baptized at the All Soul’s Chapel in Evanston.

Ronda did not have an easy life because of her mental illness, but she always made the most of everything and every day. She never finished high school, but she proudly got her GED and encouraged everyone to do the same and more.

She was very thoughtful and never missed a birthday or holiday. She was famous for sending her random “treasures” in the mail to everyone she loved and cared about.

At times she pursued writing, rapping, making jokes, and other unique endeavors. She did it wholeheartedly and fearlessly.

She was often misunderstood but her exuberance for life didn’t let judgment get to her. Ronda will always be remembered for her “happy-go-lucky” and “can-do” attitude.

She is survived by her sons, Timothy Jessen of Powell, Matthew Jessen of Washington and Brian Bessler of Powell; grandchildren Gracie Good-Jessen, Blayne Jessen and Lewis Jessen; sisters, Cherri (Frank) Siebert of Riverton and Bobbi Myers of Washington; and stepfather Donnie Canies of Powell.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hazel and John Muller; mother Peggy Jean Pace; and her sisters, Annette Rodriguez and Becky Reno.

Services will be held at Thompson Funeral Home on July 24, at 10 a.m., with burial at Crown Hill Cemetery following.
