Raymond Brown, who lived in Powell for 38 years, died at his home in Junction City, Kansas, on Feb. 10, 2022. Ray served as a radar technician in the United States Air Force, from 1967 until 1988. Ray’s duty stations consisted of New York, Nebraska, Mississippi, Hawaii, Minnesota, as well as Wyoming and stints in Virginia and Iceland.
After retiring from the Air Force, Ray worked at Olive Glenn Country Club in Cody, in maintanence.
Ray leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Jacqueline A. Brown, a son Richard T. Brown, and daughter-in-law Sandra, as well as grandchildren, Autumn Thull-Brown, Aiden S. Brown, and Catherine S. Brown.
Ray has been cremated and there will be no service or visitation.
