NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
The Northwest Rural Water District of Cody, Wyoming, will conduct a public meeting at 4:00 PM local time on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 in the District’s conference room at 526 Stone Street, in Cody. The purpose of the meeting is to allow citizens to review and comment on the following project. The NRWD Hydrant Replacement Project. The project will involve the replacement of deteriorating and leaking flushing hydrants throughout the system.
At the meeting, the Northwest Rural Water District will present preliminary design of the proposed project and will discuss the estimated cost of the improvements and the plan for funding the improvements. A preliminary plan of the improvements, cost estimates, and the funding plan can also be reviewed at the Northwest Rural Water District Office at 526 Stone Street in Cody. Based upon current cost estimates, Northwest Rural Water District plans to apply for $1,495,778.00 in Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality Abandoned Mine Lands Public Facilities grant funds. The District will match that grant, if approved, with $167,000 in reserve funds. This project will result in no customer fee increases.
