A Powell woman is set to be the 2024 Miss Cody Stampede after being crowned Lady in Waiting at the Miss Cody Stampede Royalty Pageant in March.

Gracie Jopp, daughter of Brandon and Rachel Jopp, will become the 2024 Miss Cody Stampede at her coronation next year and receive a saddle. She will also represent the Cody Stampede as a contestant in the Miss Rodeo Wyoming pageant in August 2024.

Jopp is currently completing her Advanced EMT certification and hopes to serve her community as a first responder.

Wren Harvey of Cody, daughter of Lisa Harvey and Ted Harvey, was crowned 2023 Senior Princess at the pageant.

Wren will be attending West Texas A&M this fall to pursue a bachelor’s degree in equine business and industry. Wren plans on competing in college rodeo and the equestrian team at West Texas. After completing her degree Wren plans to enter the workforce and later apply for a business masters degree in Milan, Italy.

Jopp and Harvey will be ambassadors for the 2023 Cody Stampede Rodeo.
