In this week’s Powell Golf Club men’s league outing, five teams scored 9.5 points, which was the highest score. Those teams were Dick Fisher/West Hernandez, Josh Sponsel/Justin Cary, Charlie Cooley/Charlie Marchant, Bill Hendricks/Gary Ladd and Mike Dusenberry/Mike Foulger.
Behind that group of five teams, two scored nine points — Bo Warner/Drew Jones and Brock Frates/Steve Williams.
Hernandez and Hendricks each earned $272 from the deuce pot. Hendricks now has earned the most in the league, with a total of $282.
The team of Warner/Jones leads with 39.5 points on the season, and Casey Borcher/Patrick Croft follow close behind at 38.5. In third, John Wetzel/Rick Norberg have 38 points. Marc Saylor/Steve Janes are in fourth with 37 points, and Dick Fisher/West Hernandez are in fifth with 35.5.
