The Powell Aquatic Center wants the community to know it’s back and ready for action now that the COVID restrictions have rolled back.
Memberships are available in various levels with payment options offered for annual memberships. Punch passes are also available for those who want to try it out. Corporate rates are available for businesses and they should contact the aquatic center for rates.
Summer swim lessons are again being offered from beginner levels to the more advanced levels. Sign up as soon as possible as spaces are going fast.
The aquatic center is again offering lifeguarding, safety training for swim coaches, lifeguard instructor training, basic life support of healthcare providers (BLS) and CPR/first aid courses. Powell Aquatic Center is able to give full information on these and other courses.
Morning aerobics with Judi Buckingham run from 6-7 a.m. Monday-Friday with only the cost of admission. This is all done in the warmth of the leisure pool which is kept at 90 degrees. You can also utilize the continuous river or take on the lap pool of eight lanes, 25 yards in a warm 82 degrees.
