DEAVER D52 LATERAL PIPING PROJECT
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Separate sealed Bids for the construction of the Deaver D52 Lateral Piping Project will be received by Deaver Irrigation District at the office of the Irrigation District Manager, (P. O. Box 205-USPS delivery) 15 First Avenue East (Hand Delivery), Deaver, WY 82421, until 4:00 p.m., prevailing local time, on July 10, 2025. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The Deaver D52 Lateral Piping Project consists of:
16,450 feet of 27” - 15” PIP or a combination of 28” – 16” HDPE and PIP pipe installed by open trench
128 feet of 28” fused HDPE pipe through an existing culvert
Valves, miscellaneous fittings, and turnout services with meters
Grading of existing canals s
Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained through HYPERLINK "http://www.questCDN.com" www.questCDN.com, Quest Project #9740291. The cost to retrieve Contract Documents from the website will be Twenty-two dollars ($22) for the download. Payment is to be made to QuestCDN and is non-refundable.
All proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount, payable to the order of the Owner as liquidated damages in the event said successful bidder shall fail or refuse to execute the contract in accordance with the terms of his/her bid. After a contract is awarded, the successful bidder will be required to furnish separate Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount.
Proposals received after the hour and date specified will be returned unopened.
A pre-bid conference and site-tour will be held at 10:00 a.m., prevailing local time June 26, 2025, at the offices of the Deaver Irrigation District, 15 1st Street, Deaver, Wyoming, 82421. Representatives from the Owner and Engineer will be present to discuss the Project. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend and participate in the conference.
Buy American preference requirements found in 49 USC § 50101 shall be met by first tier contractors, who are responsible for ensuring that lower tier contractors and subcontractors are in compliance.
The Contractor will be required to comply with the wage and labor requirements and to pay minimum wages in accordance with the schedule of wage rates established by the United States Department of Labor as referenced in the Contract.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids. Each Bidder must deposit with his Bid, a bid security subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within thirty-five (35) days after the date of the opening thereof unless special conditions as defined in the Instruction to Bidders is met.
